TAM’S ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT IS HAPPENING SOON!

Please join us for our “Stop Hunger Feed Hope” event on October 20, 2017. The event is a dinner and live auction to benefit the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry.

Tickets are $20 per person/two tickets for $35.

Tickets for “Stop Hunger Feed Hope” may be purchased at the Tri-Area Ministry (TAM) Food Pantry during regular operating hours. Tickets can also be mailed upon TAM receiving payment along with your name, address, and number of tickets needed. For more information or questions please call the pantry at 919-556-7144.

The Tri-Area Ministry (TAM) Food Pantry is open for distribution on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM, and on the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

 

THE ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIANS SELECTS TAM AS CHARITY PARTNER FOR MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Ancient Order of Hibernians of Wake County is hosting its annual Feis in the Forest music festival in downtown Wake Forest on Saturday September 23, 2017. The event will take place on Taylor Street beginning at 3pm.

For the music festival, the Hibernians have selected  TAM as their charity partner. Please support this event in any way you can. Thank you!

This annual Irish music festival is one of the Hibernians major events which allows them  to sustain Irish culture and heritage and measurably help local charities and non-profits in our community.  The 2016 event drew over 2,500 visitors and they’re expecting a crowd of up to 5,000 this year.

FASTER THAN A PASTOR 5K SELECTS TAM AS A CHARITY PARTNER

Faster Than a Pastor is a 5K run/walk coordinated by Woodland Baptist Church to benefit ChurchNet assistance ministry and the Tri-Area Ministry food pantry.  Last year runners and sponsors helped  raised more than $7,000, all of which went to the two area ministries.

Event Details

  •    When:  8:00 AM on September 9, 2017
  •     Where:  Joyner Park, 701 Harris Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587
  •     The registration fee is $25 on or before August 9, and $30 thereafter
  •     The race will be run entirely within the park
  •     T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants who register by August 10
  •     Race Day check in will begin at 6:30 AM at the check-in tent

FROSTY RUN + WALK  5 + 10K  SELECTS TAM AS CHARITY PARTNER

The 2nd annual Frosty Run, presented by Run-n-Tri Outfitters, is the ONLY 10K in Wake Forest. Starting at Gateway Commons, the USATF certified and sanctioned 10k route takes runners on a tour of Heritage Wake Forest, and the Dunn Creek and Smith Creek Greenways.

The Frosty Run is December 2, 2017

Both the 5K and 10K start at 8am with the 5K turning around at the 1.55 mile mark. All runners will receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt and a medal upon completion of the race!
